In a white-painted room this disappears into the wall and lets what is on the shelves do the talking, which is the opposite of what an all-oak bookcase does. The oak top gives it a usable surface at standing height for a lamp or a plant. At 30cm deep it takes paperbacks and most hardbacks without pushing into the room. Fully assembled.
