Six compartments in a regular grid, then one deliberate irregularity where a smaller cube sits across the middle. That single offset is what stops it reading as a plain set of pigeonholes. Open at the back, so it works as a room divider as readily as against a wall, and light passes through it either way. At 36cm it takes larger books and objects than the narrow display columns. At this scale the colour shift from panel to panel is very visible.
